  What an adventure camp was! I have lost weight, feel stronger, and am more confident than I am have ever been before. I truly feel like I am in the best physical and mental shape of my life. I spent years trying every diet imaginable only to give up time after time, but camp put me in the environment I needed to succeed.
  
  The program was easy to follow and helped me gain knowledge to make confident choices when I got home. I was extremely apprehensive about going to sleep away camp at the age of 24 but it was hands down the best experience of my life. As soon as I arrived at camp the staff began to feel like my personal cheerleaders. Even though some moments at camp were overwhelming or hard they had my back and there was always someone their to take my hand and remind me I could do it.
  
  Even though my journey is far from over Camp Pocono Trails was exactly what I was looking for it not only gave me a jump start but supplied me with the tools I needed to be successful when I got home. I am so happy that now I live a life full of energy and activity. I missed being an athlete so much and camp gave that back to me. If you are looking for an environment that will give you all the support you need to be successful in the outside world the program is amazing for anyone form 8-25!

  There are no words to describe this amazing camp experience for my child ! He was overweight and was so very self conscious about his size.
  I had searched for a camp that would address this issue , as well as
  having a no electronics policy. I found Camp Pocono Trails online and the rest is history !
  I picked him up from camp and I could not believe the change in him !
  He had lost 30 pounds and was just so happy. The experience continues, as he is not only following the health plan himself, but now I am going to join him.
  The staff especially are so supportive. The counselors are so caring and helpful. Whenever I would call, I truly felt that my child was not one of many, but treated as an individual.
  We are already signed up for next year, and I am hopeful that I can also join the program for the adults !

  This was my sons first summer at this camp and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this camp. My son has been having the most amazing time and learning so much. The camp director and all of the staff are wonderful people and the kids are all smiling from ear to ear. I highly recommend this camp if you are looking for the perfect place for your child. My son got to see the camp before committing to 9 weeks and he has already told me that he is going back next Summer. The smile on his face in every picture and the happiness in his voice when we talk on the phone, yes, you get to stay in connect with your child so you can watch them transform makes this whole experience even better. This camp is the real deal.

  I was a camper for 3 years,this place is the ultimate oasis. It’s more like a resort then a summer camp. I love all kinds of sports and this camp has them all. I was very athletic when I was younger and this place has helped me become better and stronger and I was able to reach varsity sports in high school. I have been a staff member for a few years and enjoy helping the campers reach their goals. This camp has changed me physically and mentally and for that I’m thankful.

  This camp is outstanding. Everything you could want and more. The best facilities In the country. Food is amazing, staff was even better. Head directors are very on top of all campers and amazing programs for children of all ages and abilities.
