Don't give up. A more functional life is still possible -- I had been trying to improve my shoulder function after a slap tear more than ten years ago. Several PT therapist groups have worked with me over the years which produced some small improvements in my symptoms. Deciding to try one last time I contacted Evolution Sports Physiotherapy and was matched with Lisa Kanning. My feeling is that Lisa approached my problem as if I was an athlete rather than an aging adult. This approach was both effective in improving the function and my motivation to stick to the at-home program.
I appreciate the therapy and guidance Lisa provided. Feeling stronger and much less vulnerable in the use of my shoulder. Restored functionality has given me the opportunity to push myself farther with fitness goals. The physical therapy Lisa provided has added meaningful quality to my life.
