(February 6, 2018, 9:38 pm)Good trail for a broad spectrum of cyclists. The grades aren't steep nor is it technical so beginners should feel comfortable. More advanced riders can work on cornering techniques. The corners can be a lot of fun. Always be aware of hikers and up hill riders. There are a lot of blind corners.

Contact: Lauren Newman, 805-370-2343 (Thousand Oaks, CA) The National Park Service announced that it has acquired one of the three remaining pieces of land necessary to complete the 65-mile Backbone Trail. The trail stretches from Will Rogers State Historic Park in Los Angeles all the way to Point Mugu State Park in Ventura County.
