  For a hotel by the airport I wasn't expecting much. But the location is superb. It's right on a bike path and either can take one of their complimentary bikes or just go for a run. The bike path is along the waterfront and has outstanding views of San Francisco. The hotel itself overlooks a marshy inlet.

  My stay at Hampton Inn Alameda was a great experience. The hotel staff was prompt when I arrived to check in. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast at Hampton inn Alameda was delicious. I would stay again in the future without hesitation.

  The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a great shuttle service to a few nice places to eat. The only downside was you could hear planes coming in every once and a while but it sounded more like rolling thunder so it was kind of nice.

  Great hotel for the price. Kind of in the middle of nowhere but that ended up being one of the plusses if the hotel. Decent breakfast. Additional benefit of having a bar on the premises. Staff was courteous and helpful.
