First time hike in the snow was amazing....worth the 5hrs hike once get there.....a lot of great hikers along the way who push and motivate me to go up there.....we reach the Ice House Saddle 5hrs and take less than 1hr and 30mins down. before dawn. Cucamonga peak will be my destination for the summer....Enjoy!
One of my favorite trails. For the newbie hikers: This trail is not easy. It is gorgeous and it is totally worth it. Although it isn't long in distance consider the elevation it isn't the same as walking up hill 3.6 miles in the city.
Ice House Canyon loop is an awesome trail! Beautiful surroundings!
Quite a pleasant place for a break. On a busy Saturday there were plenty of people around, and many were friendly and talkative. The space is big enough that you can still wander off to a side for a nap under a tree before your attempts at summiting the nearby peaks. Be nice to the squirrels!
Wow what a great hike. Don't let the reviews fool you, if you are not experienced this will be a difficult hike. The trail is easy to follow and well maintained but steep in some sections. There was some trash left behind and people with loud radios but overall well worth it
