Awesome nature center for the whole family! See sea turtles and creatures up close and learn all about them. Fun and educational! A++
I come here every year during holiday to Boca Raton. It is a great place doing amazing work to help the sea turtle population continue to thrive. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and take time to answer all of your questions. The night walks to view turtles coming up on the beach is amazing. We were able to meet the founder and hung out with one of the guides during the trip. The guide was super accommodating of my wife's disability. She was so patient and caring and made sure my wife had an amazing experience. Because we had to trail behind the group we got our own little "private tour" and were able to watch a turtle make its way up the beach. This was definitely an experience we will never forget.
Definitely check this place out and make a little donation to heir great cause.
Hello, if you have a rental car and don’t mind driving up to Boca Raton their is a great nature center featuring sea turtles. It’s called Gumbo Limbo and they rescue and rehab wild sea turtles ????. My wife and I truly admire the work they are doing for these injured turtles. You can spend a few hours touring the center and see what their doing. Admission is by donation which supports the work going on. Definitely worth the trip.
Great spot to visit with family and friends. We come every so often and usually bring family and friends visiting from out of town and the kids always love it.
Always interesting and informative for the kids and adults.
Gumbo limbo nature center was such a quick and relaxing stop on my drive from Miami to Orlando. Just a short ways away from the highway, you will immersed in God’s great creation. There’s free parking on site and the center requests a $5 donation. There’s so much to see! I only did a few things which was the nature trails, seeing sea turtles, and my favorite, being surrounded by beautiful monarch butterflies. Try out gumbo limbo and simply reconnect with nature.
