I had several of years of abdominal pain and was referred by my primary physician to see Dr. Atia in Barrington. My first impression was a good one. Dr. Atia and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. I left the office that day with hope that I would eventually get better. Dr. Atia planned a series of diagnostic tests and after six weeks of treatment I can say, I am feeling better. Thank you Dr. Atia, and all your staff, for giving great service and excellent care to me.

I continue to experience wonderful healthcare from Dr. Antwan Atia and his staff. I've suffered from digestive issues for years (and probably will continue to do so). However issues are treated with the utmost of professionalism. I currently feel great, especially when visiting the Barrington office. All employees there are very thorough, helpful and always ready to answer questions. Thanks to that office and Dr. Atia, I know I get the best care possible. (MH)

I have been sick for 3 months, no doctor taking me seriously. I was seeing GI Partners of Illinois who's rude, incompetent staff kept ignoring my calls, test results and would only schedule me months out even on an emergency basis. I got into Dr. Atia right away, with in 2 days we found out I was positive for c diff, on top of a heap of digestive issues and stomach infection that has been going on for 3 months due to neglect from my previous GI office. I am now having multiple rest redone due to the incompetence of the previous GI doctors staff. I am so greatful to have answers, to not be treated like an inconvienance because I'm sick and going to a doctor for help, and I am greatful for the kind and helpful staff Dr. Atia has. It had been night and day switching GI specialists!
