We stayed two nights and loved it! Maximum quaintness and terrific views! Very private yet close to restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast at Bohemia Cafe was outstanding!

This is a quaint, tiny, 160-year-old cottage that faces the canal in Chesapeake City, MD. In two days, we saw several GIANT freighters chugging along just yards from the cottage! EVERYTHING is within easy walking distance from the cottage. You'll definitely want to check out the Bohemia Cafe for breakfast. Yum!

The cottage itself has a nice-sized living room with a bedroom (with cable tv) directly above. Beware: the steps are steep! It IS an old house, afterall. A very nice kitchen and bathroom. And that's it! :) There were microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, juice and water in the fridge, plus a coffeemaker and tea bags. But, again, you'll def want to check out the restaurants in town! And, right next door is a fantastic ice cream shop!

This cottage isn't fancy and it sure ain't new, but we had fun visiting the cottage AND the town of Chesapeake City! Oh, and the rates were good -- just $150 per night!
