  I have to say that this place is awesome. Mark helped me when I first got my VW New Beetle. He went way above and beyond and answers my questions instead of blowing me off like most shops. Makes keys onsite and Euro plates also. A totally awesome experience.

  I have been going to this Shop since 1994. I bought my first car from Mark 1 and have had my last 3 VW's serviced there and they have been nothing but helpful and have never lead me in the wrong direction.
  This past visit was no exception, Got in got my oil change in fact have a TSI motor they are one of the handful around that actually carry my filter that I need (A lot of other places have to order it if I am not going to the dealer) I wanted my serpentine belt replaced but was told that I probably have another 10K miles on it (Thanks for saving me some $). And on top of that even put on the Rotor's and Break pads that I brought in with out trying to push me to buying new ones from them. In the end I love my service there and will always be a customer!

  Andrew, after your oil is changed, the residual oil in the engine will darken the new oil, making it LOOK dirty, it is not. The problem with the speedometer is not the cable installation but in fact the speedometer failed. Your speedo was locked up and broke the cable, we lubed it, installed the new cable and unfortunately the speedo failed. You cannot install a cable improperly, all it does is spin the speedometer head, the rest is up to the speedometer . As for your greeting, I ignore customers when I pass though the office, I am working on other problems, someone else came to the counter to help you. Mark 1 Service
