About Sue Martin:. Sue Martin, MA, REAT, author of Using the Body's Wisdom to Heal Trauma, has over forty years experience teaching in community, academic and professional settings, including as faculty member at John F. Kennedy University, the Sonoma State University and the Tamalpa Institute.
Sue Martin has been on the faculty since 2007. For over 30 years, Sue pioneered new community and educational efforts to enhance embodied wellness. In 1977, Sue co-founded one of the first shelters for battered women in the country and in 1980, Futures without Violence.
